From the first day of the swimming unit, I had one goal and ms. Hamada told us to make that one goal with a SMART goal(Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely). I wanted to improve mostly in my 50 free and 100 free by 2 seconds before the unit ends. So ask my couches, ” What am I doing wrong with my technique?” They told me that I am supposed to pull the water behind me, not slapping the water. We practiced and practiced for a few classes, and then I went to a swim meet and improved in 50 free by 3 seconds! After that, I kept on consistently getting around 31-35 seconds, but I have not tested how my 100free did. I think I achieved my SMART goal. Also, thanks to my couches they saw that when I was kicking they noticed I was bending my legs, and they told me not to. I think I did well in this swimming unit. For water polo, I think I did ok with defending our goal and being the goalkeeper but on offense, I work well with Koen attacking the other goal. overall I think I did well in this swimming unit.
