# SCIENCE UNIT REFLECTION

December 15th, 2016

in this unit, i learned that scientists are very busy on drawing models and writing reports. (well, that job’s off my list.)

my favorite experiment is the elephant toothpaste one. it was so cool!

this unit is going to help me on 6 grade because it gave me a head start on making models and writing science reports.

# WRITING REFLECTION

felix is a penguinland intergalactic protectors soldier. one day an monstrous dictators of the universe squad knocked him out by a taser. when he woke up, he found himself in a home-style space ship and met three friends. they go to the MDU mothership, kick butt, and kill their leader.

he overcame his problems with the help of his friends. they thought of ideas together and fought together.

important parts of the story is metaphors, similes and plot points, because those would make it more interesting.

the genre of my story is a sci-fi story because it has spaceships and laser guns and stuff.

i think you would like my story because it has a lot of adventures, action and (kind of) comedy.

# cooking reflection 2

December 9th, 2016

cooking banana bread is similar to cooking muffins because we put flour in both ones. and we used the teaspoons, tablespoons and cups to do the measurements. it was different because we used a whole lot more ingredients in the banana bread.

we used fractions in this unit by the half or quarter cups, teaspoon and tablespoons for the flour or sugar.

a hint for this recipe is melt the butter in a different pan on step 3 .

the highlight for this baking experience (other than eating them) was… um… smelling the bread!

bye! i hope you liked this blog!

we used fractions in this unit by the half or quarter cups, teaspoon and tablespoons for the flour or sugar.

we can double the recipe by doubling the materials, like instead of half a cup of flour, we can use a whole cup. if you want to divide it by two, just use a quarter cup of flour.

the highlight was eating it. it was AWESOME. mmmmm… especially when you put cinnamon and sugar on them.
