Day One Simulation Reflection-Ancient Mesopotamia

The activity was about making and building a civilization that was able to trade with written language. During the activity, I personally thought my job was to trade and draw the architecture building. As a group, we divided the work load up by trying to do it by his/her feelings, in which speed the person works, how the person works and what he/she is good at. Our biggest accomplishment as a civilization was the drawing of the language because we had 2 good drawers in our group that enjoyed drawing the pictures. Our weakest point as a civilization was the trading because we all wanted to trade, and we could not decide so all of us went to trade and it ended up having not a lot of work done. If I could do this activity again, I would change the way our communicated together and how we spread the work out more, so we get more things done.

I was sick most of the lessons but the two lessons I was here I decided to do a clock because I need one in my room and it seemed to me like a useful idea. When I saw the pictures of the other students making clocks it looked interesting to me. The clock will work.

Welcome to Your New Blog!

When you blog you create posts and posts are categorised according to your subject. Some categories have already been set up for you. If you need more categories you can add them as needed. It’s important that your posts have the following:

  • An engaging title – this should not include the name of the subject since this is referenced in the category.
  • Body – this is where you share your learning. This can include text, images, embedded videos from Dragons’ Tube or elsewhere. You should always consider how your post looks to your audience. Is it engaging? Do they want to keep reading?
  • Category – select one that has been set for you or add a new category. Posts can have more than one category e.g. Humanities and Myself as a Learner
