Ignite Week (Memory Wall)

Q: What did you create?
A: For our ignite week, we made a memory wall. To build the wall, there were 3 roles. The visual artist, builder and the historians. I was one of the historians. For historians, we had to pick pictures that we are going to hang on the memory wall.

Q: What were your successes?

A: One of our successes were actually to finish the project in time. Since it was such a big project, I though we wouldn’t be able to finish it on time. However, we finished it. Also, we were successful on having our wall innovative. When we were looking for ideas of memory wall, we were worried that we would get ideas and just copy from it.

Q: What were your challenges?

A: The challenge that I as a historian faced was when we had a limited amount of pictures that we could choose. When we had 100 pictures in the beginning, we decreased the amount into 40 of them.

Q: How did you grow in my chosen L21 focus area in this project? What evidence can you share of that?

A: For this project, I was creative and innovative by helping the visual artist to design the wall much more colorfully.

Q: What are some ways that the skill I learned during Ignite week would be of value to me in the future?

A: I learned how to work as a group efficiently and also work on our own work without getting bothered.
