Great Opportunities in the Middle School!

Happy ISB International Day!

Today we celebrate our cultural diversity at ISB with our parade and after school food, games, and community time.  I’d like to give a big thanks to all of our volunteers and PTA members who make this day special for students, parents, and ISB staff members.

I want to let all parents of MS and HS-aged students know about a special parent learning opportunity coming up:

Learning Mathematics in the 21st Century: Debunking Some Myths,  Oct 24, 6:30 pm, in the MPR    Jennifer Chang-Wathall is an independent educational consultant, author and part time instructor for the University of Hong Kong. With over 25 years experience in the education field, Jennifer has worked in several international schools. Jennifer consulted for the IB on the new diploma mathematics courses for first teaching in 2019 to develop a concept-based mathematics curriculum model. Her best selling book titled “Concept-Based Mathematics: Teaching for Deep Understanding in Secondary Schools” was released in February, 2016.
