Hello! Welcome to a much more “normal” setting of my blog post. Today, I want to share with everyone my plans for the year and also try to predict what the new year has in store for me!
While it hasn’t been a year since COVID-19 has started, it really is darn close. So far, I am finalizing several of my applications to university and hope to send them out within the following days. While there were some issues with one of my applications, I was able to get into contact with the admissions office and was able to both resolve the issue and submit my application. Within this month of January, I will also be completing and starting other assignments. I look forward to finishing two IA’s (History and international economics) and another English essay. While I am still unsure what I will be writing my English essay on, I am thinking on writing it on Frankenstien by Mary Shelley.
Past these assessments and assignments, I am still unsure if we are taking a final exam at the end of the semester. While IB has given our school a choice, I am still unsure if we are able to depending on the COVID-19 situation. Although vaccines are known to be rolling out this year, a lot of individuals are still unable to take these vaccines due to either its price, limited supply or possibly the bureaucracy / government that becomes involved in its distribution. Despite the pandemic setback, I still look forward but am unsure what the rest of the year holds in store for me, but I still look forward to its many surprises.
