The feedback I got for episode 3 was I need to improve on adding more evaluation and analysis. I think I need to add in more points of my own that are connected to my interviewees.
In this topic, it is about Defining and Inquiring. In this unit, I had to explain and justify a problem and a solution, mine was about “how freshman students can manage their money in an efficient way”, I came up with this problem inspired by myself. I am a freshman student and the biggest problem that I have myself is keeping track of my allowance. So I thought that maybe someone else that may also have the same problem as me, so I came up with this problem with a solution. From MISO I picked Survey as my tool, then I constructed a survey on Microsoft forms. I went around the school looking for freshman students. From the first survey, I got some of the answers were really vague and not specific enough to support my solution, so then I went and re-edited my survey with some more clarifying questions, and adding more multiple choice of answers for the questions. From the survey, I took said that almost 85% of the students think or need to manage their allowance in a better way or system. Then I created a data analysis of every answer I got from the survey, about how why each question is important and how does every question analysis can impact my design as my next step Develop and Plan.
After I took my survey, I came up with a couple of solutions. In class, I had to share my ideas and solution with partners and peers, they gave me some helpful feedback on how to improve my solution and tool.
For creating my solution, I did some research about how did other people solve/ create a solution that could help or improve the way of managing money in an efficient way.
My solution was to make a website about “how to keep track of your money” and it is called “Money-Piggy.com”
To create my design or solution I need to learn practice about how to create a website, such as how to program. I think I would achieve this by conducting some research online or asking some technology people from ICT.

Yay: what will you repeat?
I would like to repeat the reflecting process for furthermore design problems. I think that when I receive feedback from my peers I can reflect and improve my design.
Nay: what will you avoid?
I would like to avoid being less limited to define and inquire about my problem. I would also avoid by looking in my own design, and for next time I think I could identify more similar products or solution to the problem.
Develop and Plan
Which iteration strategy did you use? Would you use it again? Why/why not?
In my design, I received a bunch of feedback and changed my idea and solution based on my feedback. I improved the idea by adding more detailed information and also changes in the design that would make it better. I would definitely use this strategy again because I think it is a very efficient and helpful way to improve.
What did you enjoy in the planning stage?
I enjoyed the planning stage of brainstorming ideas on the whiteboard and it really helped me to brainstorm interesting ideas.
How will you better include concepts from responsive design in your next challenge?
In my future designs, I will focus more on how my design makes this world a better place. Although this wasn’t a major aspect of this project, I didn’t really consider the balance of the benefits of my design and the consequences it insists on the economy, environment, and the people.
What does your poster show about you as a learner?
My poster is very simplistic, it shows that I always want to make my work simplistic – easy to understand and appealing to the eyes. Furthermore, my poster is very organized, it also demonstrates that I am a very organized person.
Describe the changes you made during the presentation session:
During the first presentation 1 to 1, when I presented to my partner when I finished my presentation, I realize that I finished a bit too fast, and my partner gave me some suggestions, that could make my presentation longer. I added some ideas of how my solution solves my problem.
What goals have you set?
Maybe adding a bit more how does my solution solves the problem and how does it work.
From my feedback, my partners said that I should have more pauses and look less on the poster and having more eye contact. I would look more to the audience and may have a louder voice to the audience as well.

Problem: A tomb is underwater and to get it out within 36 hours with 3000USD.
In this design challenge I have designed hooks that are attached to the tomb and there are ropes that attach them, to pull the tomb out of the water. The 2 people go down to the water and attach small hooks to the edges of the tomb, and 1 person is outside looking. My ideas and thoughts changed through the design process, at first, I was planning to make a water suction, but a problem occurred, where does the sucked-up water go? Then I changed my design to hooks that are hooked up to the tomb. I think that the limitations from the problem pushed me to think more and creating more solutions. I have learned a variety of skills such as creating ideas and a short amount of time.
Some of the feedback I received are kind of useful, but some are not that useful. Especially I labeled the tomb is 30cm below water, and the feedback are kept on asking how low down the tomb under the water is.
