I did more practice on parabola, which we learned in Algebra I. And this is an excellent experience for me since we weren’t doing the questions, but practiced in the real life! We did well on collecting data and filming. The challenge we faced is using the logger pro software, because that was the first time we use logger pro. The part we need to improve next time is to be more efficient. If I can have another try, I will be more familiar to logger pro this software, and do all the works faster than the first time.
I created my capstone video by using “Powtoon”, I’ve never used it before, so Powtoon was a totally new tool for me. I learned how to use that tool, and also learned how to make my video be attractive.
My video making process:
1)How to make non-newtonian fluid:
- Add 100 ml of water.
- Add 200 g of cornstarch.
- While adding the cornstarch, mix it slowly.
2) Claim: The non-newtonian fluid is the most successful prototype.
- very soft (just like a liquid) when poking slowly.
- Very very hard when poking really fast.
Because our aim is to make a computer protector, so a very hard surface can really work in that case, and our polymer is even bullet-proof! Our polymer is also soft when touching slowly, which could attract more customers to buy it since it’s very weird.
