This image and article could be valuable to historians as it represents discrimination that Asians were facing during the time of the virus, as well as showing what the virus caused some people to think and react; that Asians are a “virus”. The image represents different viewpoints during this time period, and what prejudices there were against Asians at the time.

2) Image showing Black Lives Matter protest in America.

This image could be valuable to historians and political scientists as it demonstrates what discrimination there during this time period, causing African Americans, and other American citizens to stand up and protest. The image could also be valuable to geographers as it represents an area in the world that struggled with racial equality and justice at the time. This is important because the spike in action regarding the Black Lives Matter movement brought out many different viewpoints from different people, and different groups of people reacted in different ways, demonstrating the effect the rise of the BLM had on society.

3) This video capturing a senior that beat COVID-19 and graduates in the hospital:

This video could be valuable to historians as it represents the effect of COVID-19 on a different age group; high school students. The video shows a senior in high school who was healed of COVID-19 and had to have an in-hospital graduation, as well as showing the graduations of other seniors in high school, demonstrating the impact COVID-19 had on high school students.

This image could be valuable to historians as it represents the effect of COVID-19 on a different age group; high school students. The photo captures four high school students who are social distancing due to the outbreak of COVID-19, having an online study group via Skype. This demonstrates the impact COVID-19 had on high school students, not allowing them to work together in school, but rather having to stay home and take online classes. This image could also be valuable to economists as it shows that the outbreak of COVID-19 has lead people to use online video conference programs such as Skype and Zoom much more often, in effect resulting in economic growth for those programs.

5) Video from the news warning people that protests may lead to an increase in COVID infection.

This may be valuable to historians and political scientists because it shows how the protests in support of the Black Lives Matter movement could potentially lead to more infections; connecting to the BLM movement and injustice for African Americans in the US, as well as how that connected to the COVID-19 outbreak.

This would be useful to historians and geographers because it gives them a clear timeline, including dates and locations, of all the events that occurred during this time period.
