Plastic Tote Bag by Rahee Kwak
What is going well?
What are you unsure about?
I need to find out how will the plastic bag be and make more prototypes.
Also, I need to figure out how to connect each plastic bag by sewing and not sure how long the bag will last
Will the bag easily ripped?
Is the bag enough size to put things in?
What are your next steps?

Eco-friendly material, product design, Tote bag

I really like this idea because tote bags is something almost everybody has in their home. My question to you is how are you hoping to create this? What techniques are you thinking of doing? My recommendation to you is to change this title of the blog post to “Crochet Tote Bag” instead of Tote Bag because when I read Tote Bag I think of something different from yours.
What I like: Sustainability!! I really like how you’re crocheting a bag. Learning how to crochet is a useful skill!! I also like the design you’re going for. Its minimalistic but also purposeful.
Questions I have: With whatt material are you going to crochet?
Additional Feedback: Think about how you’re going to secure the fabric to the knitted bag
You are very clear in your design brief about the problem that you are trying to address. I like the idea of using eco friendly fabrics! I was wondering, do you have a fixed design of your product? Color? I’m not good at crocheting so I don’t know how long one tote bag would take you but maybe consider doing more than one?

What I like about your idea is that it can start super simple but you can make the project more complex if later if need be. For example you could develop a range of totes, or even a brand for yourself with a logo and swing tag.
I know that you are interested in sustainability, so I hope you consider using recycled plastic – it;s easy to use, can look really cool, and would be reducing trash landfill in the process!
