The last reflection, I predicted that Mike, the main character, would win his Student council election, and the school would soon find out that he’s gay. Since then, most of my predictions are coming true, he’s now the vice president, and he owns up to his sexual orientation in a way. Last time I wrote that this book is supposed to be relatable, now I think this book is less relatable, and that’s not the main thing the author tried to do with this story. I now think he tried to make this story all about the plot and tried to make it as intriguing at possible. One theme is that Mike is slowly coming out, it isn’t a one time things, but it’s a process. Although this story relatable to many, I think the targeted audience is much smaller and specific.
