Le France in Ze Peril

The video above shows the French Revolution and its chronological order starting with the meeting of the estates general. The French Revolution was one of the bloodiest revolutions in recent history. The effects of which can still be felt today in its impact on the governments and people of Europe. It is our job as people that have lived after to study and learn from these revolutions so that they should not be forgotten but remembered as the men and women who fought for their freedom against a monarchy that wasn’t right for them.

I liked the video, It was engaging and I liked all the pictures The French Revolution is similar to the Cuban Revolution because they both overthrew a leader who had absolute power. The revolutions were different because in the Cuban revolution there were only about 300 revolutionaries and not many people died, however in the French revolution thousands of people died.

I liked how your video was super clear and simple so it was really easy to understand what happened. I think the two revolutions are pretty similar in some ways because they were both revolving around the idea of equality and liberty.
America was trying to gain freedom from Great Britain, whereas the French wanted to abolish the French monarchy and create a better government. However, I think the American Revolution was worth it but the French Revolution wasn’t.
