Reflection

Blog Post Reflection

Take a picture of your final apparatus (finished product). May include more than one.

Answer the following questions on a word document:

Why is engineering important? Because engineering can advanced the world with their scientific and mathematics thinking, and they offer to people a better world.

What was your challenge?  My challenge was to figure out the problems in our apparatus. Because when we were fixing the problems, we didn’t have more better ideas to solve the problems.

Why did you choose that design? Because we thought that fabric, and cotton ball can absorb the dirty things, and mesh can remove the things that in the water.

How does it work? The first perfectly failed, the water didn’t even go inside to small bottle, so we don’t it clean or not

Was your design successful? The first prototype was failed. Water did not go inside to the small bottle, so we didn’t know the water was clean or not. But second one is much better than first. It’s not drinkable but it filtered the water ( also cleaned it ).

How might you change your apparatus if had the opportunity? (If no redesign) I want to use more materials, because I think we were not that use materials than others, and I think that’s why we failed the first one.

(If redesign) Was your redesign successful? Probably yes, because it filtered them water( but not drinkable), and remove the rocks and things that really dirty

Save on your desktop when finished. We will post it in your blog next week.

Welcome to Your New Blog!

When you blog you create posts and posts are categorised according to your subject. Some categories have already been set up for you. If you need more categories you can add them as needed. It’s important that your posts have the following:

  • An engaging title – this should not include the name of the subject since this is referenced in the category.
  • Body – this is where you share your learning. This can include text, images, embedded videos from Dragons’ Tube or elsewhere. You should always consider how your post looks to your audience. Is it engaging? Do they want to keep reading?
  • Category – select one that has been set for you or add a new category. Posts can have more than one category e.g. Humanities and Myself as a Learner
