Early Humans and Us – Technlolgy

Here is my early humans and us thinglink project about how has technology influenced humans throughout history.
I focused my project on the history of weapons.
MY question: How has our technology on weapons influenced us in different shape?

Cardboard Penalty Shootout

First of all, this game is created by Harry&Timothy. We got our idea from our hobby, football(soccer).  Our goal was to create a game that both shooter and the goal could interact with each other. Basically, this game is for two people. There is a shooter and one who blocks the shooting. You just have to simply pull the pencil and score. We had our expectations and we reached our expectations.

Our biggest obstacle was our shooter. In our plan we thought if we just make one it would be fine but as we tested our game the shooter had a lot of problems. And we repaired our shooter more than 5 times. It was hard but because we didn’t quit and kept trying, we made it

A piece of advice I would give to a future student is things won’t match with your plan. I believe everything doesn’t go exactly how you planned. But especially in design, things won’t go with the plan. Our plan was to make the shooter more accurate but we had to fix many times and problems pop up everywhere, So, I hope that future students have a back up plan.

Overall, I think this product was successful because we reached our expectations and it was wonderful to watch fourth graders laughing and try hard to score. This product was fun for both of us because we saw the value of effort that we put to the product.

Harry’s “I Am From” poem

This poem is the things that matters to me. The thing that I will remember and care even when I become old.
I hope you enjoy my poem. Thanks! 🙂

Welcome to Your New Blog!

When you blog you create posts and posts are categorised according to your subject. Some categories have already been set up for you. If you need more categories you can add them as needed. It’s important that your posts have the following:

  • An engaging title – this should not include the name of the subject since this is referenced in the category.
  • Body – this is where you share your learning. This can include text, images, embedded videos from Dragons’ Tube or elsewhere. You should always consider how your post looks to your audience. Is it engaging? Do they want to keep reading?
  • Category – select one that has been set for you or add a new category. Posts can have more than one category e.g. Humanities and Myself as a Learner
