"I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious" - Albert Einstein

This year in product design, I was challenged to make a Lightbox that shows a place special to us. I chose Hong Kong, I was not able to travel anywhere this year because of COVID. i learned lots of different skills this year is product design. we learned how to use adobe illustrator to create the shape we wanted to make our light box, learn to use wood glue to join pieces of wood to make our box and learned to use masking tape to paint our pieces. if i could do my light box again i might make my boat a little bit smaller, add more color, paint more carefully and try to hide the LEDs better.

Happiness is a joyful feeling the pretending to be happy will not make you happy.

People think that happiness will make you lazy, which is not true, being happy has a lot of benefits. It may also be the key to success.

Happy people are better health and rarely engage in risky behavior, being  around a happy people will make you happy too.

The richer you are dose not mean the happier you are, only 8% of the adults in UK prefer “greatest overall wealth”

Trying to be happy is no silly goal, happiness is what we want for who we care for.

The project is a poem about coronavirus, about students can’t go to school and about how adults can’t go to work…

A Painful Experience, That You Would Never Want (So, listen to me!)

My first draft is just a page of word with no punctuation marks. This is a topic that is hard to write about, but I still stayed with it because I thought it is my best real-life story to write about. My book is about earplugs stuck in my ears and me pulling them out.

Where I’m From

 Where I’m From

By Hugo.F

I’m from fresh fishes,

Meatballs as well as

The tasty Chinese noodles.

I’m from the barks of “sug-ar-lic”

(Sugar & Garlic my dogs).

Calling my name.

I’m from our un-swim-able lake

As dirty as mud,

With fishes swimming in side.

My plane model collection.

(Collected by my dad),

From traveling.

I’m from the sayings of:

“Do your homework!”

“Stop playing video games!”

I’m from MOM, DAD, HEN

And Sugarlic

The lady who’s as amazing as snow.

The man who’s as quiet as the night sky.

The brother,

The best Super Smash Bros player

I have ever seen.

The Filter

The Filter

The black water is what I am going to filter, and the clean water is what we had after.

I used a piece of cloth 5 spoon full of small rocks and a cup.

Engineering is important, because engineering will help you with things.

The problem was, we need clean water to live.

so we filtered the dirty water.

If I had more time I will make a better filter  by using more cups to make it bigger so I can put more things in it. This is the only i can think of but it worked out well.

How I Got My Name

I am named after my brother Henry because Hugo starts with a “H” too. My Chinese name is 方立and my brother is 方正 together it makes 立正. 立正means standing up.

Welcome to Your New Blog!

When you blog you create posts and posts are categorised according to your subject. Some categories have already been set up for you. If you need more categories you can add them as needed. It’s important that your posts have the following:

  • An engaging title – this should not include the name of the subject since this is referenced in the category.
  • Body – this is where you share your learning. This can include text, images, embedded videos from Dragons’ Tube or elsewhere. You should always consider how your post looks to your audience. Is it engaging? Do they want to keep reading?
  • Category – select one that has been set for you or add a new category. Posts can have more than one category e.g. Humanities and Myself as a Learner
