My circuit

COURSE REFLECTION

  1. One of my favorite circuit experiences was how to make a circuit work via looking at new materials like copper tape and LED. I also liked that we had to watch out for which leg is negative and which one was positive, I learned two tricks to know which LED leg was positive or negative.

2. One of the challenges I had to overcome during this class was when turning the side of copper tape,

a. It could tear easily when turning the side b. I tried turning the side of the copper tape and when I did it, it got torn and it was a major problem with the circuit.

c. How I could overcome that would have been taking out all of the tapes and start again with a new set of tape.

3. Something which I didn’t overcome yet was my own circuit

a. The tape alignment was the challenge

b. I tried pressing the legs of the LED and smoothened the tape.

c. My next step to overcome it would be to take all the tape out and do the tapping work again.

An aspect I really liked about this class is how Miss. Kim actually taught students and how she gave video reflections to a student with their e-card.

An aspect I really don’t like was how it was hard for people to group around Miss. Kim and then most people are having a hard time to see; Miss. Kim can change that somehow (no offense).

PROJECT REFLECTION

So my circuit the theme is about just making an e-card. I am trying to make an e-card like a face and the LED is on the eyes to make it glow.

One aspect that I like about this would be how I made the theme and design.

Something that I work on would be to make it work but tapping it again with copper tape. I would do this by taking out all of the copper tapes from the design and tape it on again.

Happiness Summary

Our lives depend on this factor in many aspects of our lives. (Happiness)

The fact that happiness can make our lives more beneficial is true…If you try to show one group a positive film and another group a neutral film…You will see the difference in your very eyes. This benefits society as you are spreading positivity around. The society gets better and better.

What is very important is that money is not key to anything rather than buy groceries and things which don’t bring us any real happiness.  If we value collaboration in our community and in our teams and to other people. We can actually change the world from a second angle.

My Last Science Project

By biggest takeaway was that I learned new words and I practiced many news things like procedure writing and note-taking. I also liked trying new things.

Next year, I would like to develop more good explanations and to be successful in science next year and pay attention to the teacher.

Our Stories Make History-My reflection

Reflection

During our unit, I made a project called Our Stories Make History.  I created primary sources which revealed my personal experience and emotions during COVID-19. I learned how to find reliable and trustworthy sources based on Covid-19. This project I created will show you how I felt during Covid-19. I organized the sources on time, when the starting and when the ending and how intense it was going. It was easy to organize the sources in my project because it was getting intense later than the beginning. I organized it this way because it will make more sense.

This will (might) be useful to a person in the future because they don’t know how we felt during this experience and how it could help them understand how we all went through this.

I am most proud of my journals because they helped me at hard times. during this lockdown.

I had a hard time at finding reliable sources and I had a hard time at remote learning

Our hot insulator cup

This is our insulator cup design and it works. This works by keeping hot inside the cup and our cup’s temperature dropped by 9.7 degrees and it happened because we used materials that can keep hot/cold inside and our materials were felt, cloth and we used strips of velcro.

  • Something that I am proud of is that our insulator cup only dropped 9.7 degrees.
  • Something I would do differently would be to use more materials to drop less temperature or drop no temperature.
  • This is a good thing because there are teachers who want hot coffee but the winter is making the coffee cold. So this can help them keep their drinks hot.
  • Something hard as we didn’t know what materials would keep it hot.
  • I learned what materials would keep a cup hot.

My Metaphor Island

In this unit, we started learning geography and then our teacher asked us to make a metaphor map,

This is what the signs mean

My plain is French class because it is easy for mean and it is like plain, like everything flat.

The volcano means my anger like volcano, it erupts when there is a lot of lava, like my anger.

The forest is my home because it is calm and I want a home with no arguments.

The valley is something which I achieve like a achievement.

The Coast means something where I chill out.

The desert means endless and something that endless to me is reading and education.

Lake is somewhere I don’t have stress and where I can relax when I have stress.

The peninsula is chess, it is because I feel like when I lose chess, I am fell in the Ocean, but if I win, then I can move on.

The secret base is something where I have secrets in.

The Ocean is where I have a lot of stuff to do and that is homework and projects.
