GRADE 6 SCIENCE CLASS 6-7 ALFRED AND JACK
PROJECT: SAVE THE WHTER WARM
|Alfred, Jack cup
We did save that much heat because we had good material all around the cup and that was Eva foam. I think Eva foam works good because it is a good and thick material and the material, we just on the top was good because it is also a thick material that kept warm inside of the cup.
So, we were trying to keep the coffee hot. The way we would be able to keep it warm was to build like a jacket. I and Jake made it by about 10’c and we made a really easy design easy is good.
We solved this problem by thinking where the most heat is coming out and that was the top. The next step was to build something around the cup because we felt like it is not easy to get out heat from the bottom of the cup. So, we connected the top and the thing around so that you can pull off the top of the cup and it will still be connected to the cup.
Yes, the product did work well because I think we fixated the biggest problem that was to not let the warmth get out of the top, and then we did some extra with the thing around it.
What are you proud of?
How well we did, and we made it bay 10’c and I think we did a good job.
What would you do differently?
Maeby try to but something in the bottom and see if that would make any difference.
I was not able to get photos of it but my partner Jack should have some.
So in Design for 6 grade I made an arcade game for 4 graders. My team was Felix and Ethan and we made a game when you will shoot a ball into baskets.
My biggest obstacle was to get the kids to enjoy playing the game and to tell them what to do. It was also hard to get them to play the game softly and when they did not play it softly it di get harder for them. They did not like the game because they did not play it softly and that makes it harder.
Something I’d like to change is the way you play the game to get it to be a little bit more like an optical course to roll the ball and not use the tool. I think it will get more fun if you do that chance. I like how it is built but you should put down the hopes a little bit.
Overall, I think this product was successful because when the kids played the games and played it softly it went good and I enjoyed watching them having fun, and in the beginning, no one came to the game we have been working on but when the first kid came it started to come more and it was this one girl how really like it and played it for about 10 min and she got about 20 points and it looks like she really enjoyed playing
This is my where I am from poem. I hope you enjoy.
When you blog you create posts and posts are categorised according to your subject. Some categories have already been set up for you. If you need more categories you can add them as needed. It’s important that your posts have the following:
- An engaging title – this should not include the name of the subject since this is referenced in the category.
- Body – this is where you share your learning. This can include text, images, embedded videos from Dragons’ Tube or elsewhere. You should always consider how your post looks to your audience. Is it engaging? Do they want to keep reading?
- Category – select one that has been set for you or add a new category. Posts can have more than one category e.g. Humanities and Myself as a Learner
